Joining Hanzell Vineyards in 2008 as Associate Winemaker, Lynda comes from a diverse background of business, viticulture and winemaking experiences. Working for her family retail wine shop launched her desire to learn more about winemaking. It was her love for the wines of Burgundy that first inspired her to pursue a career in winemaking. After spending a year abroad in Bordeaux and later earning her Master in Enology from UC Davis, Lynda went on to make wine with a focus on chardonnay in a variety regions such as the Central Coast, Russian River, Napa and Argentina. Lynda enjoys gardening, raising chickens, sheep and pigs, and traveling around the world with her husband and two children.
